\t\t<\/p>\n Jennifer Lopez<\/strong><\/a> is dishing on her upcoming new movie Office Romance<\/em>! <\/p>\n The 56-year-old singer and actress is starring in the forthcoming Netflix film alongside Brett Goldstein<\/strong>, who also co-wrote the script.<\/p>\n Office Romance<\/em> is a \u201craunchy romantic comedy about a secret office romance and the trouble two workaholics get in when they start thinking with their hearts.\u201d<\/p>\n In a new interview, JLo<\/strong> teased the forthcoming feature and revealed that it was written for her! <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m very excited about that. I haven\u2019t done a romantic comedy in a while. I think since Marry Me<\/em>, which was a few years back now. And I\u2019m really excited about it. It\u2019s really funny. It\u2019s very, it\u2019s kind of a classic rom-com, but it has like hard jokes, you know what I mean?\u201d she said on SiriusXM\u2019s BPM<\/em><\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s like a little bit edgier than a normal JLo<\/strong> rom-com in a way, but it has all the DNA of a classic, you know, romantic comedy that you love, that you just kind of really fall in love with the characters and things like that. And a great cast. Reminds me a little bit of Maid in Manhattan<\/em> in that way where we had this amazing supporting cast besides the two leads so, yeah.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201c[Brett<\/strong>] wrote the movie with Joe Kelly<\/strong> and they sent me the script and they were like, \u2018We wrote this for you. If you don\u2019t do it, we\u2019re not even making the movie,\u201d Jennifer<\/strong> added. \u201cBut it was really funny and me and my partner, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas<\/strong>, my producing partner, really loved it and we went and we did it and I\u2019m so glad we did.
