\t\t<\/p>\n David Harbour<\/strong><\/a> has booked his next movie role!<\/p>\n On Friday (April 17), it was announced that the 51-year-old Stranger Things<\/em> and DTF St. Louis<\/em> actor has joined the cast of the upcoming movie John Rambo<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, joining previously announced star Noah Centineo<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>In the upcoming Rambo<\/em> prequel movie, David<\/strong> will be playing Major Trautman, the commanding officer of the titular character played by Noah<\/strong>, 29, according to Deadline<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Directed by Jalmari Helander<\/strong> from a screenplay co-written by Rory Haines<\/strong> and Sohrab Noshirvan<\/strong>, John Rambo<\/em> \u201ctakes audiences back, years before the events of First Blood<\/em>, diving deep into the roots and experiences that forged one of the big screen\u2019s most enduring and complex characters.\u201d<\/p>\n The cast also includes Yao<\/strong>, Jason Tobin<\/strong>, Quincy Isaiah<\/strong>, Jefferson White<\/strong>, and Tayme Thapthimthong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Based on David Morrell<\/strong>\u2019s 1972 novel, Sylvester Stallone<\/strong> first played John Rambo in 1982\u2032s First Blood<\/em>. He reprised the role in 1985\u2032s Rambo: First Blood Part II<\/em>, 1988\u2032s Rambo III<\/em>, 2008\u2032s Rambo<\/em>, and 2019\u2032s Rambo: Last Blood<\/em>.<\/p>\n Sylvester<\/strong>, 79, who was also a co-writer on the first five Rambo<\/em> movies, signed on as an executive producer of the upcoming John Rambo<\/em> movie last month.
