\t\t<\/p>\n Members of the Glee<\/em> cast are showing support for Lea Michele<\/strong><\/a> as she nears the end of her acclaimed run in Broadway\u2019s Chess<\/em><\/strong>!<\/p>\n The Emmy-nominated actress just got one of Broadway\u2019s biggest honor \u2013 a portrait at the restaurant Sardi\u2019s \u2013 and she was joined by many of the show\u2019s alum, including BFF Jonathan Groff<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n Lea<\/strong> unveiled her portrait during a ceremony on Thursday afternoon (April 16) at Sardi\u2019s restaurant in New York City. <\/p>\n After Jonathan<\/strong> gave a speech to honor Lea<\/strong>, she posed for photos with the portrait. Joining them were former co-stars Darren Criss, Kevin McHale, Alex Newell<\/strong>, and Skylar Astin<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Chess<\/em> co-stars Aaron Tveit<\/strong> and Nicholas Christopher<\/strong>, as well as director Michael Mayer<\/strong> and writer Danny Strong<\/strong>, posed for photos with her too. <\/p>\n Kevin <\/strong>and Skylar <\/strong>both went to see Lea<\/strong> in Chess <\/em>this week and both posted raves about her performance on their social media pages. They posed for photos with her backstage too<\/a>!<\/p>\n Lea<\/strong> will be starring in Chess <\/em>through June 21 and she\u2019s expected to earn her very first Tony nomination for her performance. Most experts believe she would have won the Tony for her performance in Funny Girl<\/em>, but she unfortunately wasn\u2019t eligible as she didn\u2019t perform in the original cast. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
