Karol G<\/strong><\/a> reportedly went all out for her 2026 Coachella Music Festival<\/strong><\/a> performance this year.<\/p>\n The 35-year-old Tropicoqueta <\/em>Colombian superstar is helming the Sunday headlining slot for this year\u2019s festival in Indio, Calif.<\/p>\n And according to her team, she spent around three times what she was paid by the festival to bring her headlining set to life.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n While her exact salary has not been confirmed, Coachella headliners typically earn several million dollars, or \u201cin the mid-seven figures,\u201d per THR<\/a>. <\/p>\n But Karol G<\/strong> invested far beyond that into the show, pouring major money into the production, including visuals, rehearsals and staging, in order to create a massive moment with Super Bowl-like exposure opportunity.<\/p>\n As far as taking the financial hit, her team explained that the performance was not meant to be a one-off show.<\/p>\n JBeau Lewis<\/strong>, a partner agent at UTA who has Karol <\/strong>as a client, said to THR<\/em>: \u201cNo one is taking for granted the magnitude of what this is.\u201d<\/p>\n \n
