The Boys<\/em> is coming to an end in 2026, but is Gen V<\/em> going with it?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a plan for Gen V<\/em> season 3, and we\u2019re psyched about it, but we need enough viewers to watch season 2 to justify season 3,\u201d the show\u2019s creator, Eric Kripke<\/strong>, told TheWrap<\/em><\/a> in October 2025. \u201cNow\u2019s the time that they\u2019re paying attention to the numbers. So don\u2019t watch even a year from now. Turn on Prime [Video] and watch it now. If enough people watch then we\u2019ll get a season 3.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kripke noted that the \u201csame applies\u201d to Vought Rising<\/em>, another spinoff series, which is set to premiere next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have plans for a season 2, if we can,\u201d he continued. \u201cThey\u2019ve been nothing but supportive, and they\u2019re giving us our opportunities. But it\u2019s a business and we also have to deliver. So hopefully the audience shows up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gen V<\/em> season 2 premiered in September 2025. The finale, which debuted the following month, set up the events of The Boys<\/em> fifth and final season<\/a>, which premiered in April 2026.<\/p>\n
