\t\t<\/p>\n Erika Eleniak<\/strong><\/a> is returning to Baywatch<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n On Wednesday (April 15), it was revealed that the 56-year-old actress, who starred in the first two seasons of the series, will be reprising her role as Shauni McClain for the upcoming reboot series.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>Here\u2019s what brings Erika<\/strong>\u2018s character back to Baywatch<\/em>: \u201cA former Baywatch lifeguard, Shauni is now a Santa Monica city councilwoman who returns to the beach to help Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell<\/strong>) kick off the annual \u2018Beach Games\u2019 between reigning champions of Baywatch versus the Coast Guard,\u201d according to Variety<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Erika<\/strong> is now the second star from the original series that will be returning for the reboot. David Chokachi<\/strong>, who joined the original series in season six, will be reprising his role as Cody Madison.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the synopsis of the reboot: \u201cThe wild child Hobie Buchannon (Amell<\/strong>) we all loved from the original series is now a Baywatch captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie\u2019s world is turned upside down when Charlie, the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and become a Baywatch lifeguard alongside her dad. OG heartthrob Cody Madison now runs The Shoreline, the unofficially official Baywatch bar-and-grill, and still puts on the red trunks for the occasional shift saving lives.
