\t\t<\/p>\n Jaafar Jackson<\/strong><\/a> got some family support at a hometown screening of his new movie Michael<\/em><\/strong> held on Monday (April 13) in Gary, Indiana.<\/p>\n The 29-year-old star of the upcoming biopic about his uncle Michael Jackson<\/strong> was joined by his dad Jermaine<\/strong>, uncles Marlon<\/strong> and Jackie<\/strong>, and his cousin Prince<\/strong>, who is Michael<\/strong>\u2018s eldest son. <\/p>\n If you recall, Jermaine<\/strong>, Marlon <\/strong>and Jackie<\/strong> were, of course, part of The Jackson 5 <\/strong>with Michael<\/strong>, with the group being portrayed in the movie.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n In addition to the screening, held in Michael<\/strong>\u2018s hometown, the Jackson <\/strong>family also took part in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Sound Portrait Studio at West Side Academy, alongside Gary mayor Eddie Melton<\/strong> and Dr Yvonne Stokes<\/strong>, who is the school\u2019s district, Gary Community School Corporation, superintendent.<\/p>\n Just a few days before, Jaafar<\/strong> attended the world premiere of Michael<\/em><\/a>, which was held in Berlin, Germany, with Prince <\/strong>and his younger brother Bigi<\/strong> also attending. While Prince<\/strong> and Bigi<\/strong> seem quite supportive of the biopic, their older sister Paris<\/strong> has been critical<\/a> of the project. <\/p>\n Michael<\/em> \u201cis the cinematic portrayal of the life and legacy of one of the most influential artists the world has ever known. The film tells the story of Michael Jackson<\/strong>\u2019s life beyond the music, tracing his journey from the discovery of his extraordinary talent as the lead of the Jackson Five<\/strong>, to the visionary artist whose creative ambition fueled a relentless pursuit to become the biggest entertainer in the world. Highlighting both his life off-stage and some of the most iconic performances from his early solo career, the film gives audiences a front-row seat to Michael Jackson<\/strong> as never before.
