\t\t<\/p>\n The beloved CBS comedy series Ghosts<\/strong><\/a><\/em> is nearing the end of season five right now and fans will have to wait awhile for the next season. Thankfully, there are some specials to hold you over until then!<\/p>\n CBS just confirmed that season six of Ghosts<\/em> won\u2019t air until 2027, but two specials will air in the meantime. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n One-hour Halloween and Christmas (\u201cGhostmas\u201d) specials are set to air in the fall.<\/p>\n CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach<\/strong> has explained the decision to delay Ghosts<\/em> after fans expected it to air back-to-back with Eternally Yours<\/em>, a new series from the same executive producers. Instead, the new show will air on Thursday nights at 8:30pm, directly following Georgie & Mandy\u2019s First Marriage. <\/p>\n \u201cI know everyone made that assumption,\u201d Reisenbach<\/strong> told Variety<\/a><\/em>. \u201cBut Georgie and Mandy<\/em> is the number one comedy on broadcast. It\u2019s a show about family. Eternally Yours<\/em> is also a show about family. We want to give our new shows the best launch pad possible. And we think this is going to be a really formidable pairing. And that was really where that decision came from.\u201d<\/p>\n
