Selma Blair<\/strong><\/a> and Christina Applegate<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s connection remains strong even 25 years after The Sweetest Thing<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Blair, 53, exclusively told Us<\/em> the two have also bonded over their respective multiple sclerosis diagnoses<\/a> over the last few years.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight when she finished [Dead to Me<\/em>], she was actually at my house, the kids were playing, and she was saying she wasn\u2019t well, and I was going, \u2018Oh, this reminds me a lot of me \u2026 I couldn\u2019t walk, feet swelled up,\u2019\u201d Blair shared, recalling what she said when Applegate, 54, first broached her health issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018I think you need to get an MRI,\u2019\u201d Blair continued. \u201cAnd she\u2019s like, \u2018Ugh,\u2019 but she really wasn\u2019t feeling well, and she got an MRI, and it did reveal that she had MS. \u2026 So I think we both watched every episode of The Love Boat<\/em> from our beds, texting each other. There\u2019s things we would kind of commiserate [about], because we both became bed girls for a while, definitely years. So we commiserate and laugh. She definitely was kind of the tough one about MS. She was very ballsy about it. She\u2019s amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blair\u2019s bed era, as she lovingly calls it, continues with a new partnership. On Tuesday, April 14, she revealed her collaboration with Kansas City\u2013based lifestyle brand Mersea<\/a> to create a limited-edition pajama capsule collection, Sea La Vie, that \u201ccelebrates sleepwear as a modern self-care ritual.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI met this wonderful woman-owned business years ago, when I was really not doing great with MS,\u201d said Blair, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018. \u201cI was in bed a lot, and I got this beautiful care package, and it made such an impression on me, and I obviously enjoyed it so much.\u201d<\/p>\n
