\t\t<\/p>\n Alec Baldwin<\/strong><\/a> is considering retiring from Hollywood.<\/p>\n The 68-year-old actor recently revealed that it\u2019s something he has been thinking about since the 2021 accidental death of Halyna Hutchins<\/strong> during the production of Rust<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI wound up staying home a lot. I was home with my kids for three and a half years \u2014 I hardly worked at all,\u201d he shared during Monday\u2019s episode of The Hollywood Reporter Awards Chatter<\/a><\/em> podcast.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want to leave my house anymore,\u201d the 30 Rock<\/em> alum continued. \u201cI don\u2019t. I don\u2019t want to work anymore. I don\u2019t. I really don\u2019t. I want to retire and stay home with my kids.\u201d<\/p>\n In October 2021, Halyna<\/strong> was shot and killed on set after a prop gun Alec<\/strong> was holding went off. He was later charged with involuntary manslaughter and pleaded not guilty. The case was later dismissed in July 2024.<\/p>\n On the podcast, he said, \u201cThat was unspeakably difficult to deal with.\u201d<\/p>\n Alec<\/strong> also talked about how they had to finish filming Rust<\/em> \u201cas a component of the settlement with her husband.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt impacted me in every way \u2014 financially, career-wise, my wife, my kids, my health. I was so sick. I mean, we had to finish.
