Peter Andre prefers to ‘foot the bill’ on a date<\/p>\n
The 53-year-old star – who married wife Emily in 2015 – has insisted he has “always” bought into the idea of “chivalry”, and he’d rather be the one paying for a meal out.<\/p>\n
Writing in his column for new! magazine, he said: “I’ve always been on for chivalry. I just wouldn’t feel comfortable not footing the bill on a date.<\/p>\n
“Nothing wrong with it though, if that’s what you both want – but that’s just me!”<\/p>\n
Peter insisted it’s not always about appearing chivalrous either, as he claimed he gets a genuine buzz out of being the one to pay.<\/p>\n
\nHe added: “It’s not even just about chivalry, I get a real joy out of it.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker recently opened up about the crush he used to have on Halle Berry.<\/p>\n
\nHe told new! magazine: “I remember the 1997 World Music Awards because I won Best Australian Artist, and on the front row were Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Lionel Richie, Prince Albert of Monaco, the Bee Gees.<\/p>\n
\n“Halle Berry was there, too. She’s gorgeous and I really fancied her, but no one beats my Emily.<\/p>\n
\n“No one even comes close.”<\/p>\n
\nPeter and Emily have Amelia, 12, Theo, nine, and two-year-old Arabella together, while Peter is also father to Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, from his marriage to ex Katie Price, 47.<\/p>\n
\nDespite the two former flames clashing over the years, earlier in 2026 they promised to put their kids first and “move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect”.<\/p>\n
\nPeter explained: “It’s actually great. And unbeknownst to a lot of people, over the last 15, 16 years, it has been OK before this.<\/p>\n
\n“The kids are grown up and it’s nice that everyone moves forward. It’s just all positive and it’s lovely. That’s how life should be.”<\/p>\n
