Billie Eilish<\/strong><\/a> would be happier than ever if haters stopped making negative comments about her body.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s tough, man,\u201d Eilish, 21, told Vogue<\/em> <\/a>in an interview published on published Tuesday, June 20. \u201cHonestly, nobody can say anything about my body that I don\u2019t have a stronger opinion about. \u2026 I also think that if I was younger \u2014 like if the internet talked about me the way they do now when I was like 11, I don\u2019t think I would be able to exist, to be honest.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n While the \u201cBad Guy\u201d singer noted that she likes herself \u201cmore than I used to,\u201d the body-shaming commentary still gets under her skin. \u201cI\u2019m more interested in how I feel than how [trolls] feel. But then also that might be a load of bulls\u2014t because it still hurts my feelings like a sonabitch,\u201d she confessed.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Eilish explained that she spent most of her life being \u201cvery masculine and boyish\u201d but recently realized she\u2019s \u201callowed to be whatever I want to be<\/a> when I want to be it.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m also feminine, and I\u2019m also sexy<\/a>, and I\u2019m also cute, and I\u2019m also just, like, none of the above, and I\u2019m just me,\u201d she shared, adding that she experiments with different styles so she can express all facets of her personality.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The \u201cHappier Than Ever\u201d artist is no stranger to shutting down haters. After debuting a new glamourous look in 2021, she opened up about the scrutiny she received over the clothes she chooses to wear and the double standards she\u2019s held to.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cPeople hold on to these memories and have an attachment [to my past looks],\u201d Eilish told Elle<\/em><\/a> in October 2021. \u201cBut it\u2019s very dehumanizing. I lost 100,000 followers just because of the boobs. People are scared of big boobs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Eilish added that she was initially blindsided by the \u201crelentless drumbeat of criticism\u201d \u2014 something she wasn\u2019t expecting just because she \u201cmade a song once<\/a> and then kept making songs.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI never said, \u2018Hey, pay attention to my life,\u2019\u201d she told the outlet at the time. \u201cAll my friends know I don\u2019t wanna see any of [the negative chatter].
