\t\t<\/p>\n It sounds like Ralph Fiennes<\/strong><\/a> time in the Harry Potter<\/strong><\/a><\/em> universe is over.<\/p>\n While appearing on The Claudia Winkleman Show<\/a><\/em> on Friday night (April 10), the 63-year-old Oscar-nominated was asked about possibly reprising the role of Lord Voldemort in HBO\u2019s upcoming TV series adaption of the beloved books.<\/p>\n \u201cI remember being asked the question once we\u2019d shot the total film series, would I reprise the part, and this was some years ago,\u201d Ralph<\/strong> recalled. \u201cI said, \u2018Yes, I\u2019d love to.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cBut then nothing\u2019s happened and I think that ship has sailed,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Ralph<\/strong> went on to say that he believes that Tilda Swinton<\/strong><\/a> would be perfect to play Voldemort in the TV series.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I\u2019ll tell you, Tilda Swinton was mentioned somewhere as being a contender, and I think she would be amazing,\u201d Ralph<\/strong> said.<\/p>\n Tilda<\/strong>\u2018s name has indeed been tossed around to possibly play Voldemort in the upcoming series, which is set to premiere later this year. <\/p>\n Cillian Murphy<\/strong> has also been rumored to play Voldemort in the series and in a recent interview, he responded to the speculation<\/a>.<\/p>\n The first season of the Harry Potter<\/em> series, which will follow the events of the first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher\u2019s Stone<\/em>, premieres on HBO on Christmas Day.
