\t\t<\/p>\n Caleb Ellsworth-Clark<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about joining the Malcolm in the Middle<\/strong><\/a><\/em> cast as the new Dewey.<\/p>\n When the Malcolm in the Middle: Life\u2019s Still Unfair<\/em> revival special was announced, Erik Per Sullivan<\/strong>, who played the original Dewey in the 2000s series, decided to pass on the project and Caleb<\/strong> was hired to take over.<\/p>\n While attending the premiere of the revival earlier this week, Caleb<\/strong> admitted that he was \u201creally, really nervous showing up\u201d to set, but the cast made it easy.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cI grew up watching the show,\u201d Caleb<\/strong> told People<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI know that Dewey was a fan favorite, but he was also a personal favorite. And I think I was aware that maybe people might be disappointed Erik wasn\u2019t gonna come back and do the show. I guess I didn\u2019t want to f\u2013k that up.\u201d <\/p>\n In preparation for the role, Caleb<\/strong> said that he re-watched some of the series. He also praised the cast for being \u201cvery warm\u201d to him when he joined.<\/p>\n \u201cThey were so warm and welcoming,\u201d he shared. \u201cI was really scared to show up but they all took such great care of me and made me feel like I belong.
