\t\t<\/p>\n Lionsgate is sharing a first look at The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping<\/em>!<\/p>\n The film production company shared official footage for the upcoming prequel film on Friday (April 10) alongside a \u201clookback\u201d at the franchise so far.<\/p>\n Fans who have been eager to see Elle Fanning<\/strong> as Effie Trinket, Kieran Culkin<\/strong> as Caesar Flickerman, Ralph Fiennes<\/strong> as President Coriolanus Snow, and more are in for a treat. <\/p>\n Other cast members showcasing their versions of popular characters include Jesse Plemons<\/strong> as Plutarch Heavensbee, Kelvin Harrison Jr.<\/strong> as Beetee Latier, Lili Taylor<\/strong> as Mags Flanagan, Joseph Zada<\/strong> as Haymitch Abernathy and Maya Hawke<\/strong> as Wiress.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The upcoming film sees Francis Lawrence<\/strong> back in the directing chair with a script from Billy Ray<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Glenn Close<\/strong>, Mckenna Grace<\/strong>, Billy Porter<\/strong>, Ben Wang<\/strong>, Whitney Peak<\/strong>, and Iris Apatow<\/strong> also star.<\/p>\n It was also previously announced that Jennifer Lawrence<\/strong> and Josh Hutcherson<\/strong> will reprise their roles as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark<\/a>. In the novel, they have a small part at the end of the story, during the epilogue. <\/p>\n Sunrise on the Reaping<\/em> takes place 24 years before the first movie and follows young Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada<\/strong>) as we see how he became the victor of the 50th Hunger Games, or the Second Quarter Quell.<\/p>\n \n
