It\u2019s called \u201cThe Whitney\u201d \u2014 naturally \u2014 and it uses club soda as its base combined with sugar-free pineapple syrup, sugar-free peach syrup, sugar-free vanilla syrup, lime syrup and raspberry pur\u00e9e. That\u2019s the kind of influencer-to-executive pipeline we love to see.<\/span><\/p>\n For anyone who hasn\u2019t fallen down this rabbit hole yet, a dirty soda is a customizable beverage made by mixing traditional fountain soda with flavored syrups, creamer (half-and-half or heavy cream) and sometimes fresh fruit or lime.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cDirty Soda is all about customization, and that\u2019s really what\u2019s driven its popularity across the country,\u201d Whitney told <\/span>Food & Wine<\/span><\/i>. \u201cIf you love pi\u00f1a coladas, you could add pineapple and coconut syrup into your base of choice. It\u2019s designed to be really approachable but also super personalized.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n In an <\/span>interview with Delish<\/span><\/a> in January 2026, Whitney detailed her five golden rules for creating the best dirty soda.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n First and foremost, pebble ice is a non-negotiable \u2014 and it must have a strong base (she prefers seltzer water, but club soda or fountain soda also work well).<\/span><\/p>\n The perfect dirty soda must also be sweet, which can be achieved with syrup or coconut cream. In order to perfect the proportions, she suggests tasting as you go and adjusting as needed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n You can also add some flair with a mint, lemon or lime garnish \u2014 but only if you want to take the drink to the next level.<\/span><\/p>\n Whitney isn\u2019t the only one with a signature sip.
