Meghan Trainor<\/strong><\/a> is breaking her silence on all the backlash she has been facing following the birth of her third child.<\/p>\n Back in January, the 32-year-old \u201cMade You Look\u201d singer and husband Daryl Sabara<\/strong> announced birth of their third child<\/a>, a baby girl named Mikey Moon<\/strong>, via surrogate.<\/p>\n During her appearance on the April 9 episode of Kylie Kelce<\/strong>\u2018s Not Gonna Lie<\/em> podcast<\/a>, Meghan<\/strong> detailed the joys of welcoming another child and also addressed the backlash she faced for using a surrogate.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>Meghan<\/strong> said that she had an \u201camazing\u201d surrogate that she had an immediate connection with.<\/p>\n \u201cShe was just a champ,\u201d Meghan<\/strong> gushed, adding that she could be \u201cmore present\u201d after Mikey<\/strong> was born because she wasn\u2019t recovering from a C-section. <\/p>\n However, after publicly sharing the baby news, Meghan <\/strong>noticed that a lot of people took issue with the fact that she used a surrogate.<\/p>\n \u201cI was like, \u2018Oh, they hate me now. They ain\u2019t going to like this,\u2019\u201d Meghan<\/strong> recalled thinking at the time. \u201cAnd it was a cloud of tears every night of just worry. I want my daughter to come to this world and not have everyone attack her for the way she got here. And all of that went through my head. But my team was with me, my therapist is with me \u2026 Everyone was so supportive.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cAnd this was the healthiest way,\u201d she continued, adding that the negative response \u201cdidn\u2019t damper anything,\u201d and that she was in \u201cbaby bliss.\u201d<\/p>\n Daryl<\/strong> also stayed positive after the backlash, reminding Meghan<\/strong> that her real fans will always defend her.<\/p>\n \u201cMy husband\u2019s like, \u2018Honestly, if anyone says stupid s\u2013t your fans come and defend you,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Meghan<\/strong> admitted that she found certain criticism baffling, like when some moms \u201cgot mad\u201d at her for wearing a hospital gown after Mikey<\/strong>\u2018s birth.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I did skin to skin, they were like, \u2018Why would you pretend like you gave birth?\u2019 And I was like, \u2018What?\u2019\u201d she recalled. \u201c\u2018So they\u2019ve never been in a hospital. Like, they don\u2019t know anything about what\u2019s going on.\u2019 And then when I heard they thought I named her \u2018via surrogate,\u2019 I was like, \u2018Okay, I know who I\u2019m dealing with now. I really don\u2019t care about their opinion.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n Kylie<\/strong> agreed, saying, \u201cI think the important thing to remember is that you made a very intentional decision to grow your family.\u201d<\/p>\n The mom-of-four added, \u201cYou have the most beautiful baby girl now and \u2026 You didn\u2019t have to compromise your own health to be able to achieve that.
