Also untrue, as it turned out. In 2019, years after finalizing the split, she described Adams as emotionally abusive.<\/p>\n<p>She has since gone on the <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/mandy-moore-healing-after-a-difficult-marriage-and\/id1683905652?i=1000643946309\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Dinners on Me<\/em> podcast<\/a> to reflect upon the ill-advised union.<\/p>\n<p>Going into the marriage, she feels, was a response to her parents\u2019 divorce.
