Except, I did not marry Paul McCartney. I used to try and make him think of me.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Oprah was a devoted fan of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/the-beatles\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,the-beatles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Beatles<\/a> growing up and like many teen girls she liked Paul the best over John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cOf course Paul was my favourite Beatle &#8230; I used to wake in the morning and I\u2019d stand on the stairs and say, \u2018Think of me, think of me, think of me.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nOprah, 72, finally got the chance to meet McCartney, 83, and interview him many decades later and she took the chance to ask him directly if she&#8217;d ever popped into his head in the 1960s.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe said: \u201cMy first question to him was, \u2018All those years, I was 14, and I was thinking of you. Did you ever once think of me?\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\nMcCartney replied: \u201cEvery day, babe, every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\nOprah and Paul shared a memorable moment when both were honoured at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe said: \u201cWhen Hey Jude started playing, he took my hand.
