Exes Kanye West<\/strong><\/a> and Kim Kardashian<\/strong> <\/a>don\u2019t always see eye to eye on their 10-year-old daughter North\u2019s social media usage.<\/p>\n \u201cAlthough Kanye disagrees with North being allowed to post on TikTok, he appreciates Kim being reasonable about certain content she posts,\u201d a source exclusively tells Us Weekly<\/em> of the 46-year-old rapper\u2019s stance on the matter. \u201cKanye has a really strong bond with North and even though he completely trusts her, he knows she\u2019s still very young and can\u2019t always make the best judgement call on what\u2019s appropriate to share with the public and what\u2019s not.\u201d<\/p>\n Kardashian, 42, for her part \u2014 who runs her and North\u2019s joint TikTok account, @kimandnorth \u2014 admitted during a Tuesday, June 20, interview with Time<\/em> <\/a>that she sometimes makes the wrong calls when it comes to her kids\u2019 internet activity. She recalled deciding to take down a TikTok video<\/a> of North and rapper Ice Spice<\/strong><\/a> lip synching to the latter\u2019s song \u201cBoy\u2019s a Liar, Pt. 2\u2033 after the clip went viral earlier this year.<\/p>\n \u201cAs soon as I saw the words, I was like, \u2018Oh no, we\u2019re taking this down,’\u201d the Skims mogul \u2014 who also shares sons Saint, 7, and Psalm, 4, and daughter Chicago, 5, with West \u2014 explained. \u201cI saw on the internet [people were saying] \u2018Kanye was right,\u2019 and maybe he was in that instance. But [North] loves making slime videos and doing her little hair tutorials, and I will fight for her to be creative.\u201d<\/p>\n West \u2014 who was married to the Kardashians<\/em> <\/a>star for nearly seven years before she filed for divorce<\/a> in February 2021 \u2014 previously took to Instagram to slam the reality TV personality<\/a> for allowing North to use TikTok.<\/p>\n \u201cSINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?\u201d the \u201cGold Digger\u201d artist claimed in a since-deleted post in February 2022.<\/p>\n Kardashian fired back, publicly defending North\u2019s social media presence.<\/p>\n \u201cKanye\u2019s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,\u201d she wrote via her Instagram Story at the time. \u201cAs the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity<\/a> in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision \u2014 because it brings her happiness.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite the exes\u2019 ups and downs throughout their coparenting journey<\/a>, the source tells Us<\/em> that West \u201cknows Kim is looking out for North\u2019s best interest.\u201d However, that doesn\u2019t mean he\u2019s changed his opinion on his eldest child\u2019s TikTok usage.<\/p>\n \u201cHe still stands by the fact that she shouldn\u2019t be on there whatsoever. Kanye feels like he has every right to be concerned<\/a> about their daughter\u2019s use of social media, but he\u2019ll take any compromises he can get,\u201d the insider shares.<\/p>\n After the \u201cHeartless\u201d musician and Kardashian finalized their split in November 2022, West moved on with Yeezy architectural designer Bianca Censori<\/strong><\/a>. In January, Us<\/em> confirmed that the pair had a small marriage ceremony<\/a>. \u201cFriends don\u2019t know if it\u2019s legal, but it\u2019s very real to them,\u201d a second source exclusively told Us<\/em> at the time.<\/p>\n Later that month, the couple were spotted grabbing dinner<\/a> in Malibu, California, with North. In March, a third source exclusively told Us<\/em> that Kardashian is happy that her ex-husband has moved on.<\/p>\n \u201cKim is actually glad that Kanye has found someone<\/a> that makes him so happy,\u201d the insider shared. \u201cShe knows they have both completely moved on from their relationship and she wants nothing but the best for him.\u201d<\/p>\n The KKW Beauty founder has also been back on the dating scene since she and West called it quits, dating Pete Davidson<\/strong><\/a> from October 2021 to August 2022.
