Lambrini Girls have dropped out of Coachella 2026<\/a> at the eleventh hour due to a serious health scare for singer Phoebe Lunny<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cLong story short: I fractured my neck and have an acute brain injury,\u201d Lunny, 27, announced via Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, April 9. \u201cTLDR: happened in Australia. Misdiagnosed. Late treatment. Doctors orders are I can\u2019t fly or perform for 6 weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lunny confirmed that Lambrini Girls are postponing all upcoming U.S. concert dates to allow her adequate time to recover before their U.K. and European shows in late May go ahead as planned.<\/p>\n

The punk singer also acknowledged that Lambrini Girls\u2019 absence from Coachella would surely be upsetting for fans because \u201cit\u2019s dark times, especially in the states.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are so many good folks who are carving out community and lifting each other up in the face of fascism,\u201d Lunny wrote. \u201cMaking space for subversion and resistance is at the core of what this band is about.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on, \u201cSeeing people of all ages, genders and backgrounds come together to mosh, lift each other up, chant, cry, scream in both parts joyful and angry, is my greatest joy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lunny assured Lambrini Girls\u2019 devoted fans that she would have carried on with the Coachella 2026 set if it was at all possible.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have received quite a lot of messages re Coachella, we are so gutted, guys,\u201d Lunny acknowledged. \u201cWe want to be there so badly. If it was a broken leg, I would do a Dave Grohl and play it<\/a>. This isn\u2019t something we are taking lightly and we are really sad. We hope and pray there\u2019s some universe [where] we get to play next year instead \u2026 Because it is my neck and brain, our hands are tied for now, but I\u2019m lucky and expect a speedy recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cThank you for always showing up for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lambrini Girls were scheduled to perform at Coachella 2026 on Saturday, April 11, and Saturday, April 18, as support for a bill headlined by Justin Bieber<\/strong><\/a>. Pass-holders can still expect plenty of starpower on the lineup, as Addison Rae<\/strong>, SOMBR<\/strong>, Jack White<\/strong>, Labrinth<\/strong>, David Byrne<\/strong> and The Strokes are among the dozens of acts on tap for both Saturdays.<\/p>\n

Us exclusively learned<\/a> this week that Bieber, 32, has been involved in nearly every aspect of planning his Coachella performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been involved in everything all along, from negotiating his own paycheck to working on the show\u2019s creative direction,\u201d a source exclusively told Us. \u201cHe even helped design the merch that\u2019ll be sold on the grounds \u2014 T-shirts, hoodies, hats, etc.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans can expect a set showcasing his Swag<\/em> albums, plus plenty of classic hits to keep the masses of festival-goers singing along.<\/p>\n
