Zendaya arrived fashionably late and skipped an afterparty. And that\u2019s apparently just fine with the higher ups at HBO.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018Euphoria\u2019 bosses are all too aware the pair do not get along,\u201d the insider claimed. \u201cThere were tensions way back \u2026 Their paths barely crossed during the making of Season 3.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The source added: \u201cDuring the press tour, any interactions between the pair are being kept to a minimum to avoid any awkward encounters on camera. (Actually, they\u2019re <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/03\/zendaya-mom-response-tom-holland-secret-wedding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rumored <em>spouses<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>at this point, but have not confirmed it.)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was an open secret that Sydney had the hots for Tom,\u201d the insider claimed, \u201cand was flirty with him when he would come to set.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s interesting, as he doesn\u2019t really fit the vibe of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/09\/sydney-sweeney-scooter-braun-relationship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sydney\u2019s dating history<\/a>, and that\u2019s not really her reputation at all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat did not go down well with Zendaya,\u201d claimed the source. \u201cThey have not really hung out socially since then.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An insider alleged: \u201cThere will be a sigh of relief when \u2018Euphoria\u2019 is over and they can go their separate ways. The actresses were also quick to praise each other in interviews.<\/p>\n<p>We cannot actually confirm any of the claims that they no longer get along \u2014 let alone verify the alleged reasons for the supposed rift.<\/p>\n<p>In real life, it\u2019s pretty normal for \u201cwork friends\u201d who don\u2019t really hang out otherwise to grow apart, especially when years go by when they aren\u2019t actively coworkers. This would portray Sydney as a Trump-supporting femme fatale of sorts, which is a pretty nasty accusation.<\/p>\n<p>The second possibility is that they don\u2019t have a feud, they just don\u2019t hang out much and are both way busier than they were when they first began filming the show. They\u2019re both in a lot of huge projects these days.<\/p>\n<p>Then comes the third and perhaps most interesting explanation: that there\u2019s no feud, but that they\u2019ve conspired to fuel feud rumors to promote the premiere and thus the new season of <em>Euphoria<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve seen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2025\/08\/pamela-anderson-liam-neeson-breakup\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">actors fake relationships<\/a> in order to stir up interest in films.
