\t\t<\/p>\n Actor and writer Michael Patrick<\/strong> has sadly died.<\/p>\n Michael<\/strong>, who appeared in a season 6 episode of Game of Thrones<\/em>, passed away on Tuesday (April 7) at the age of 35 following a battle with a muscular condition called Motor Neuron Disease.<\/p>\n The Irish native\u2019s wife Naomi Sheehan<\/strong> shared the news on Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, April 8, revealing that Michael<\/strong> died while in hospice care.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span> Motor Neuron Disease rapidly \u201cattacks the nerves that control movement so muscles no longer work\u201d and is incurable, according to the MND<\/a> Association.<\/p>\n \u201cWords can\u2019t describe how broken-hearted we are,\u201d Naomi<\/strong> continued. \u201cIt\u2019s been said more than once that Mick was an inspiration to everyone who was privileged enough to come into contact with him, not just in the past few years during his illness but in every day of his life. He lived a life as full as any human can live. Joy, abundance of spirit, infectious laughter.
