\t\t<\/p>\n Pam Bondi<\/strong><\/a> is not going to testify about the Jeffrey Epstein<\/strong> investigation.<\/p>\n The 60-year-old former U.S. Attorney General, who was ousted by President Donald Trump<\/strong> last week<\/a>, won\u2019t be testifying about the late convicted sex offender\u2019s investigation in front of a congressional committee.<\/p>\n The reason is because she\u2019s no longer the Attorney General, according to the Department of Justice.<\/p>\n The department told the House Oversight Committee that she will not appear at the deposition on Tuesday (April 14) as she was \u201csubpoenaed in her capacity as Attorney General,\u201d a committee spokesperson told BBC.<\/a><\/p>\n According to the report, some members will try to push for her to answer questions at a \u201clater date.\u201d<\/p>\n Republican U.S. Representative Nancy Mace<\/strong> said on X<\/a>: \u201cPam Bondi<\/strong> cannot escape accountability simply because she no longer holds the office of Attorney General. Our motion to subpoena Pam Bondi<\/strong>, which was passed by the Oversight Committee, was for Bondi by name, not by title. She will still have to appear before the Oversight Committee for a sworn deposition. The American people deserve answers, and we expect her to appear as soon as a new date is set.\u201d<\/p>\n Democrat Robert Garcia<\/strong> added:<\/a> \u201cShe must come in to testify immediately, and if she defies the subpoena, we will begin contempt charges.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier in 2026, Pam Bondi<\/strong> was subpoenaed to answer questions regarding the Department of Justice\u2019s investigation into Epstein<\/strong>.<\/p>\n She sent a letter claiming all of the Epstein Files were released in February.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
