Cailee Spaeny<\/strong> is getting all shook up in Sofia Coppola<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s highly anticipated\u00a0Priscilla\u00a0<\/i>biopic.<\/p>\n Coppola, 52, teamed up with A24 to adapt\u00a0Priscilla Presley<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s 1985 memoir,\u00a0Elvis and Me<\/i>, about Priscilla\u2019s relationship with Elvis Presley<\/a> from their courtship to eventual divorce<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m excited to do something rooted in that Americana style for the first time. And Priscilla is a quintessential glamour icon<\/a>,\u201d the filmmaker told\u00a0Vogue\u00a0<\/i><\/a>in October 2022. \u201cI was just so interested in Priscilla\u2019s story and her perspective on what it all felt like to grow up as a teenager in Graceland. She was going through all the stages of young womanhood in such an amplified world \u2014 kind of similarly to [my movie]\u00a0Marie Antoinette<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n Spaeny, 24, will lead the upcoming film as Priscilla opposite\u00a0Euphoria\u00a0<\/i>star Jacob Elordi<\/strong><\/a> as the King of Rock \u2019n\u2019 Roll himself<\/a>.
