High school is long over, but the friendship between Laguna Beach<\/i><\/span><\/a>\u2019s Talan Torriero<\/span><\/a><\/strong> and Kristin Cavallari<\/span><\/a><\/strong> may never end.<\/p>\n

\u201cKristen and I, over the last, I would say, five years, have developed such a great relationship. I consider her one of my closest friends,\u201d Talan, 39, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> ahead of The Roku Channel\u2019s The Reunion: Laguna Beach<\/i><\/span><\/a>. \u201cI call her for business advice. I call her for personal advice.\u201d<\/p>\n

And sometimes they even talk about dating.<\/p>\n

As Talan continues raising three kids with his wife, Danielle Torriero<\/strong>, the former MTV reality star can\u2019t help but root for Kristin, 39, as she continues her search for a forever person.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe obviously has a very high standard, and she has a very long, long list for what she looks for in a guy,\u201d Talan said. \u201c[But] she\u2019s a catch, right? I mean, she\u2019s successful. She\u2019s beautiful. She\u2019s got a great relationship with her kids. She\u2019s just got it going on. So I understand why her list is so long.\u201d<\/p>\n

In The Reunion: Laguna Beach<\/i>, Kristin will shine a light on her reality 20 years after graduating from Laguna Beach High School.<\/p>\n

As she continues raising Camden, 13, Jaxon, 11, and Saylor, 10, with ex-husband Jay Cutler<\/strong>, Kristin finds herself single and waiting for her perfect guy.<\/p>\n

In a separate interview<\/span><\/a> with Us<\/i>, Kristin said dating has not been a \u201cpriority\u201d for her in the last year or so.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, even if I met Mr. Right today, I don\u2019t know how he would fit into my life at the moment,\u201d the Uncommon James founder shared. \u201cMy kids are really busy with sports. It is full on, and then obviously work is at 110 right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Relationships aside, Talan still can\u2019t believe how loyal fans are when it comes to Laguna Beach.<\/i><\/p>\n

More than two decades after cameras captured a group of friends living in the real Orange County, Talan confessed that he almost wasn\u2019t part of the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cMTV showed up at our school. They asked everyone to fill out a packet like: \u2018Who did you like? Who was your ex-boyfriend? Who did you hate? Who did you have some animosity towards?\u2019 I didn\u2019t fill it out,\u201d Talan revealed. \u201cI was kind of on the sidelines, and I didn\u2019t want to do a reality show. I just had no interest in doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n
