When Marriott acquired Starwood Preferred Guest, it merged three separate loyalty programs \u2014 SPG, Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Marriott Rewards \u2014 into Marriott Bonvoy<\/a><\/span> in 2019. This combination has resulted in one of the largest loyalty programs worldwide, with over 235 million members worldwide (as of early 2026) who can earn and redeem points at almost 10,000 properties.<\/p>\n

Right now, Marriott Bonvoy offers new applicants six credit cards \u2014 one business and five personal \u2014 from two issuers: American Express<\/a><\/span> and Chase<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

If you’re interested in acquiring one of the six Bonvoy-branded cards currently available to new applicants, use this cheat sheet to see if you’re eligible for a welcome bonus based on which cards you’ve had or currently have \u2014 including cards that are no longer open to new applicants.<\/p>\n

Current Marriott Bonvoy welcome offers<\/h2>\n

Before we begin, let’s review the current welcome offers on all six of Marriott’s credit cards:<\/p>\n

Marriott Bonvoy Bevy American Express Card<\/h3>\n

Welcome offer:<\/strong> New Marriott Bonvoy Bevy\u00ae American Express\u00ae Card<\/a><\/span> applicants can earn 175,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first six months of card membership. Offer ends May 13.<\/p>\n

TPG’s April 2025 valuations<\/a><\/span> peg Marriott points at 0.75 cents each, making this bonus worth $1,313. Cardholders also receive automatic Gold Elite status<\/a><\/span> with Marriott Bonvoy. The card’s annual fee is $250 (see rates and fees<\/a><\/span>).<\/p>\n

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Credit Card<\/h3>\n
