Fleetwood Mac<\/a> icon was attacked with an “unknown substance” outside a building on April 1, and now Michelle Dick, 54, has been charged with multiple felonies over the incident.<\/p>\nAs reported by Rolling Stone magazine, legal documents show Dick has been accused of throwing an unidentified substance on the musician.<\/p>\n
She is facing seven charges, including making criminal threats, felony vandalism, and assault with a deadly weapon involving a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n
Dick has also been charged with stalking both Buckingham, and a person referred to as Stephanie N.<\/p>\n
\nJust over a year ago, Buckingham was granted a permanent restraining order against Dick, who is said to have harassed the guitarist since 2021.<\/p>\n
\nFollowing the latest incident, a warrant was issued for her arrest with bail set at $300,000.<\/p>\n
\nFive years ago, Buckingham accused Dick of harassing his wife Kristen with phone calls claiming to be his biological daughter.<\/p>\n
\nHe alleged that she made death threats against him and his family, turning up at their home, and making a fake 911 call which led to police arriving at his property as he slept and handcuffing him.<\/p>\n
\nHe told the court his stalker had left \u201clong drawn-out messages\u201d that included the claim \u201cthat she was my child and threats to kill me and my family\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cI now know that the 911 call was traced to (Michelle\u2019s) phone and was the latest in an unabated pattern of harassment and threatening acts against my family and me.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAccording to previous documents, Buckingham alleged the woman had contacted his wife after obtaining her business phone number.<\/p>\n
\nHe told the court he had no personal connection to her.<\/p>\n
\nBuckingham said the woman had previously been warned by police to cease contact in 2022 but returned in 2024, allegedly leaving materials outside his home. <\/p>\n
\nThe court granted a five-year restraining order requiring her to remain 100 yards away from Lindsey, Kristen and his son William, and prohibiting any contact.<\/p>\n
\nLast week, Dick told KTLA5 that she was at Buckingham’s house “last year” and confronted him last month, but wasn’t arrested at the time.<\/p>\n
\nLindsey joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975 alongside Stevie Nicks, with whom he had a personal and professional relationship during the band\u2019s most successful period, including the release of Rumours.<\/p>\n
