Edward, 62, and Sophie, 61, are said to have planned to stay at Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate but instead stayed at Gardens House, a separate property on the grounds, after Andrew, 66, is said to have continued to occupy Wood Farm while awaiting completion of renovations at his new home, Marsh Farm. <\/p>\n
The apparent situation follows Andrew\u2019s earlier move from Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he had been based before relocating to Sandringham on a temporary basis. <\/p>\n
The report on him \u201cblocking\u201d Edward and Sophie was first published by The Sun, which cited sources familiar with the arrangements and discussions between members of the royal family.<\/p>\n
An insider told the newspaper: \u201cAndrew was evicted from Royal Lodge at Windsor but now has two homes at his disposal.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHe is just going back and forth between Wood Farm and Marsh Farm.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s got to be sorted as Edward and Sophie like to use Wood Farm.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nEdward is reported to have visited Andrew to discuss his move to Marsh Farm, amid claims he was \u201cdragging his heels\u201d over relocating. <\/p>\n
\nAndrew is understood to be using Wood Farm as a temporary residence while extensive renovation work is carried out at Marsh Farm, also located within the Sandringham estate.<\/p>\n
\nLast month, removal activity was observed as Andrew\u2019s belongings, including paintings and books, were transferred to Marsh Farm. The move is expected to be completed in the coming days, with preparations at the property nearing completion.<\/p>\n
\nGardens House, where Edward and Sophie stayed, is a cottage within the estate that can accommodate up to eight people and is located approximately 300 yards from Sandringham House. <\/p>\n
\nThe property, formerly used by the estate\u2019s head gardener, can command prices of up to \u00a34,110 per week during peak periods.<\/p>\n
\nSeparately, a security incident was reported at Marsh Farm. <\/p>\n
\nA red car was seen pulling up outside the property, with two individuals exiting the vehicle and scaling an exterior gate before attempting to look over a recently installed six-foot fence.<\/p>\n
\nSecurity personnel responded and intervened before the individuals returned to their car and left the area.<\/p>\n
