Marshals<\/em> dedicated a memorial for Monica<\/a> one year after her death, which also served as a ceremony to Yellowstone<\/em><\/a> star Mo Brings Plenty<\/strong>\u2018s late nephew Cole<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the Sunday, April 5, episode of the CBS series, Monica (Kelsey Asbille<\/strong>) was honored in a traditional remembrance ceremony<\/a> on the Broken Rock reservation with son Tate (Brecken Merrill<\/strong>), husband Kayce (Luke Grimes<\/strong>) and grandfather (Rudy Ramos<\/strong>) paying tribute.<\/p>\n

Star Arielle Kebbel<\/strong> later revealed that the fictional event was also a real memorial for Cole Brings Plenty<\/strong>, who appeared on Yellowstone<\/em> spinoff 1923<\/em>. His uncle, Mo Brings Plenty, currently plays Mo in Marshals<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n

Kebbel told People<\/em><\/a> that Mo\u2019s attended the event after Cole\u2019s death. In March 2024, a warrant was issued for Cole\u2019s arrest in relation to a domestic violence incident. According to a press release, authorities were called to the scene after reports of a screaming woman, but Cole had fled in his vehicle before they arrived. Mo and his Yellowstone<\/em> costar Cole Hauser<\/strong> asked for the public\u2019s assistance in finding his nephew.<\/p>\n

Days later, Cole was found dead at age 27<\/a>. A cause of death was not released. Mo, however, recently questioned how the investigation into Cole\u2019s disappearance \u2014 and death \u2014 was handled.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was my nephew, but he was like a son to me. And for his murder to go uninvestigated, and for it to be written off as \u2018no foul play,\u2019 because they didn\u2019t want to invest anything into it? It\u2019s heartbreaking,\u201d Mo claimed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in March. \u201cBecause we\u2019re taxpaying people as well. So for them to not work for us, no different than how they work for anyone else is pretty sad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mo accused authorities of not putting \u201cmuch effort into\u201d investigating the circumstances of Cole\u2019s disappearance and subsequent death.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn fact, they weren\u2019t even really looking for him. They were hunting him,\u201d he told the outlet.\u201cThey weren\u2019t searching for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mo encouraged others to \u201cspread the message\u201d as Cole\u2019s family is \u201cnot letting it go.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of families such as mine that are going through this right now, and we still have a lot of unanswered questions,\u201d he continued. \u201cBecause I saw his body, I saw the evidence that is there, that someone caught him. So for them to say that there was nothing, I can\u2019t believe that. I still can\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n
