According to a report from the Draper City Police Department in Utah obtained by Us Weekly<\/em>, authorities opened a domestic assault investigation into the former couple on February 23. Mortensen accused Taylor of \u201cscratching\u201d him and physically assaulting him during the alleged dispute.<\/p>\nMortensen later claimed in the report that there were \u201ctwo incidents of physical assault involving \u2018grabbing, scratching, shoving, and striking\u2019 at the hands of Taylor. Draper PD told People<\/em> no charges have been filed.<\/p>\nTaylor has denied the allegations, and alleged that Mortensen has been abusive towards her. According to documents obtained by Us<\/em> on March 20, Mortensen was awarded temporary custody<\/a> of Ever and a temporary protective order against Taylor amid the domestic violence allegations.<\/p>\nDays later, video of a 2023 domestic dispute<\/a> between Taylor and Mortensen surfaced, in which Taylor could be seen physically assaulting and throwing chairs at Mortensen in the presence of her daughter. She was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief.<\/p>\nTaylor pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in exchange for the other charges to be dismissed.<\/p>\n
