The EastEnders actress and the Lucifer actor \u2013 who split in 2014 \u2013 share children Flo, 17, and Marnie, 12, and Tamzin admitted life had been eventful as they navigated Flo\u2019s gender identity.<\/p>\n
Speaking to The Mirror, Tamzin said: \u201cIt’s been a long journey, a very long journey, but we’re in a great place now. I’m just happy that he’s happy, and that’s how I feel at the moment. He’s thriving, absolutely thriving.<\/p>\n
\u201cI’m not allowed to talk about him [Flo]. I was only allowed to talk about him on Rob [Beckett] and Josh [Widdicombe]’s podcast, Parenting Hell, because it’s his favourite podcast. <\/p>\n
\u201cSo I was allowed to talk about him with both of those two, but I’m not allowed to talk about him anywhere else, and I respect that decision.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTamzin revealed last year that Flo first came out as trans and identified as a boy at the age of \u201cabout 10 or 11\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on the Parenting Hell podcast last year, she said: \u201cThe maddest thing is that it\u2019s not the most interesting thing about him. He\u2019s an incredibly funny, intelligent boy. And I\u2019m watching him grow into a wonderful human who\u2019s very talented. And to see him thriving is just nothing but relief and joy for me, really. Because there were some dark times.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cNow we\u2019re in a really wonderful place as a family. Flo is in a wonderful place as a brilliant actor, singer, writer, and director in his sixth form. And Marnie is thriving.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTamzin, 55 and Tom, 47, tied the knot in 2006 and divorced in 2014.<\/p>\n
\nTom and Tamzin had an acrimonious split and in 2023 she posted and later deleted a tweet alleging he had been unfaithful.<\/p>\n
\nShe wrote on X: \u201cTen years since the father of my kids walked out on us for the final time. I still meet new people on jobs who reveal more infidelities and lies he committed. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut thankfully my heart and soul are clear and clean and I could not be happier right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe later removed the post and explained: \u201cThank you all for your messages re my now deleted tweet.I was marking the 10 year anniversary with pride,a feeling of triumph genuine gratitude.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI understand it has triggered some people. For anyone struggling, the most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTom married screenwriter Meaghan Oppenheimer in 2019 and they welcomed a daughter together in 2023.<\/p>\n
