Duchess Meghan reaches out to Suits co-star<\/p>\n
Patrick J Adams recently revealed that Meghan, 44 \u2013 who played his love interest on Suits \u2013 did not send him any of her famous As Ever jam, joking that it was probably due to his lack of followers on Instagram.<\/p>\n
He told the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast: \u201c[I] did not get a jam. I didn\u2019t get anything. I don\u2019t have enough followers, I don\u2019t think.\u201d<\/p>\n
Podcast host Amanda Hirsch revealed that she had received the jam but had yet to open it. <\/p>\n
Patrick, 44, said: \u201cYou\u2019re treating it like a champagne? It\u2019s gonna go bad. How long do preserves last? It\u2019s going to go bad.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAfter finding out about the podcast conversation, Meghan \u2013 who was known as Meghan Markle before marrying Britain\u2019s Prince Harry, 41 \u2013 commented on Instagram that she was sending jam to Patrick immediately.<\/p>\n
\nShe went on to send her well-wishes to his actress wife Troian Bellisario \u2013 who attended Meghan and Harry\u2019s wedding with Patrick \u2013 their children and his mother.<\/p>\n
\nMeghan wrote: \u201cJams en route for you @patrickjadams @sleepinthegardn. Hugs to those beautiful babies. Send my love to your mom.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAdams played Mike Ross in Suits from 2011 to 2018, alongside Meghan as his colleague and love interest Rachel Zane.<\/p>\n
\nThey both left Suits after the show\u2019s seventh season.<\/p>\n
\nPatrick and Troian have three daughters Aurora, seven, Elliot, four, and Imogen, two months, together, while Meghan and Harry have Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.<\/p>\n
\nMeghan invited Patrick and their Suits co-stars Sarah Rafferty (Donna Paulsen), Rick Hoffman (Louis Litt), Gina Torres (Jessica Pearson), Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter), Abigail Spencer (Dana Scott), and Jacinda Barrett (Zoe Lawford) to the royal wedding in 2018.<\/p>\n
\nAnd, Patrick admitted he had been protective of Meghan amid the huge public interest in her that came with dating Prince Harry.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cWhat she\u2019s gone through is insane.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe also referenced his Instagram bio, which reads, \u201cThe other guy from that show that you\u2019re watching on that app because that girl married that prince.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cI\u2019ve got to change that. It\u2019s the sort of thing that wherever Meghan is, if she\u2019s ever read that, she\u2019s going, \u2018Patrick, give me a break\u2019.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI got a lot of eye rolls – that was a constant with Meghan.\u201d<\/p>\n
