Dana Vaughns <\/b>danced the \u201cHoedown Throwdown\u201d with Miley Cyrus <\/b>in Hannah Montana: The Movie <\/i>\u2014 and he\u2019s still raking in dough from it.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow much money did I make doing the Hannah Montana <\/i>movie? The answer is, \u2018I don\u2019t know,\u2019\u201d Vaughns, 28, said in a Thursday, April 2, TikTok<\/span><\/a> video. \u201cBut I just got home from a trip to Dallas this weekend and, lo and behold, in the mail was a check for the Hannah Montana <\/i>movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

He opened up an envelope, revealing that he \u201cmade a whopping $66.40\u201d on his most recent paystub.<\/p>\n

\u201cPretty sure the residuals come from<\/a> when people order it on Disney+ or wherever the movie is streamed,\u201d Vaughns said. \u201cThat\u2019s where it comes from, and it\u2019s not bad. It\u2019s not bad to get a random [check], but I\u2019ve had them as low as $9, $6, $4, like 10 cents. These residuals can get really low.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vaughns captioned his upload, \u201cHannah Montana <\/i>still be paying.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cyrus, 33, starred as Miley Stewart\/ Hannah Montana on Disney Channel\u2019s sitcom of the same name, chronicling a seemingly ordinary teen girl\u2019s double life as a world-famous pop star. The Hannah Montana <\/i>series<\/a> aired from 2006 to 2011, starring Miley, her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus<\/b>, Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso <\/b>and Jason Earles. <\/b>The cast reprised their roles in 2009\u2019s Hannah Montana: The Movie<\/i>.<\/p>\n

In Hannah Montana: The Movie, <\/i>Miley took a break from her pop star career while visiting family in her fictional Crowley Corners, Tennessee, hometown. At one point, she took the mic at a local barn-held fundraiser and sang \u201cHoedown Throwdown.\u201d Vaughns played a young dancer mastering the now-iconic line dance.<\/p>\n

Vaughns further claimed that Miley said she mastered a certain \u201cisolation move\u201d in her neck and taught him how to do it.<\/p>\n
