The bride explained that her mom had given them $10,000 for the wedding. Part of that was lost when they cancelled their venue, and the momzilla apparently \u201ckept insisting this decision [to cancel] was our \u2018choice\u2019 not forced on us.\u201d <\/p>\n
After they found another venue, the mom was upset that her 16 friends couldn\u2019t remain on the guest list. Then she started threatening not to bring the bride\u2019s grandmother and said she \u201cdoesn\u2019t want\u201d to host a bridal shower.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt every step involving my mother has been a nightmare,\u201d she wrote, noting that she \u201ceven ruined my dress shopping experience because my bridesmaids were there and she expected me to only include her.\u201d <\/p>\n
After the latest dilemma, the mom apparently threatened not to come and is telling other members of the family they shouldn\u2019t attend, either. It\u2019s gotten so bad that the bride thinks her brother and sister-in-law will be the only family members there on her day. <\/p>\n
Despite that, she wrote, \u201cI\u2019m deeply hurt but also a little relieved,\u201d explaining, \u201cMy fiance and I just want our wedding to be a joyful experience for all and the relief of her not being there to potentially ruin it is sadly not a concern anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
