Zach Bryan<\/strong><\/a> has publicly apologized to his fans in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after claiming he was \u201cforced\u201d to cancel a concert.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo my fellow Oklahomans, I am being forced by my team to cancel the show tonight due to the threat of extreme and dangerous weather,\u201d Bryan, 30, announced via X<\/a> on Friday, April 3. \u201cI\u2019ve never canceled a show in my life but I unfortunately don\u2019t have a choice in the matter.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cPink Skies\u201d singer was supposed to headline a two-night run at the H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa on Friday and Saturday, April 4, along with support acts Trampled by Turtles and J.R. Carroll<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While Friday\u2019s concert has been canceled outright, Bryan clarified in his statement that Saturday\u2019s gig in Tulsa \u201cis still set to proceed as planned.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding,\u201d he tweeted.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKansas City has apparently seen the end of Zach Bryan\u2019s live shows. The country star, 29, who supports the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL, engaged in an online war of words with a stream of Kansas City Chiefs fans on Friday, August 8, resulting in his X declaration, \u201cPlease understand I will never play in [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The musician also attached a text exchange where an unidentified member of his team explained why they needed to call off Friday\u2019s live show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know you\u2019re gonna hate me for this, but we have no choice but to cancel the show,\u201d the staffer wrote to Bryan. \u201cI just had a meeting with the police, school and meteorologists and the consensus is that we would be putting people\u2019s safety at risk by trying to put on the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

The musician\u2019s staff member included a forecast from a meteorologist predicting \u201csevere storms for Tulsa\u201d with wind gusts \u201cin excess of 60 mph, heavy downpours, hail and lightning,\u201d as well as a chance for tornadoes. The National Weather Service has issued a \u201csevere thunderstorm warning\u201d that will remain in effect until 10 p.m. local time on Friday.<\/p>\n

Bryan seemed upset by the assessment, responding, \u201cAre you kidding?\u201d<\/p>\n

The country star later indicated via his Instagram<\/a> that he would have preferred to move forward with the concert despite the severe weather warnings.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Five] years of touring I\u2019ve never cancelled a headlining show,\u201d he complained. \u201cI pissed off plenty people this morning trying to \u2018play anyways.\u2019 If I had ANY say in this, things would be different. I apologize and I love all of ya.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fellow country music star Tyler Childers<\/strong><\/a> tried to convince Bryan he was doing the right thing by canceling the event, writing, \u201cBetter safe then [sic] sorry brother.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCan you imagine not canceling and that amount of people with no place to go when there\u2019s a tornado rolling through. You just literally never know what could happen,\u201d reality star and influencer Jess Turnquist<\/strong> pointed out.<\/p>\n

Any fans affected by Friday\u2019s concert cancellation can receive refunds by following the instructions in Bryan\u2019s tweet.<\/p>\n

The Oologah, Oklahoma, native kicked off his With Heaven on Top<\/em> Tour in St. Louis at The Dome at America\u2019s Center on March 7. He is set to remain on the road throughout the spring and summer, before wrapping up the tour in Auburn, Alabama, at Jordan-Hare Stadium on October 10.<\/p>\n

The With Heaven on Top<\/em> Tour is by far the biggest of Bryan\u2019s career, as he\u2019s headlining stadiums and being supported by the likes of Kings of Leon, Alabama Shakes, folk-country artist Gabriella Ros<\/strong>e and neo-soul singer Dijon Duenas<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n

While performing at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, the singer, 28, stopped his show to swear at a crowd member after an object resembling a can was pelted towards him.
