Tom Brady<\/a> has relaxed his diet since retiring from the NFL.<\/p>\n

Tom Brady is slightly less strict with his diet since ending his NFL career<\/p>\n

The seven-time Super Bowl winner famously stuck to a rigid diet during his gridiron career but explained that he has relented in retirement because of the “reality of life”.<\/p>\n

Tom – who has son Jack, 18, with his former partner Bridget Moynahan<\/a>, as well as children Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, from his marriage to supermodel Gisele Bundchen – told CNBC: “I think it’s moderation in all things, and I think there’s probably been, people have kinda gone overboard with the rigidity of my lifestyle or diet.<\/p>\n

“I have kids and I have Halloweens and birthday parties and we’re like a normal family, so I try to make really healthy choices as often as possible. But when you’re watching football games and you’re at games, you’re travelling and you’re in airports, I understand the reality of life as well.”<\/p>\n

Brady even revealed that he often makes Nutella-based treats for his children.<\/p>\n

\nThe 48-year-old former quarterback said: “I make Nutella pancakes for my kids. When we were over in Milan for the (Winter) Olympics we were eating Nutella pizzas.”<\/p>\n

\nTom recently revealed that he floated the idea of an NFL comeback but explained that the league was against the idea because the star is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders team.<\/p>\n

\nThe sports star – who has served as an analyst for Fox Sports since retiring from the NFL in 2022 – said last week: “I actually have inquired, and they don’t like that idea very much. So I’m going to leave it at that.<\/p>\n

\n“We explored a lot of different things, and I’m very happily retired. Let me just say that, too.”<\/p>\n

\nMeanwhile, Tom previously recalled how his final season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was “a challenge” because he was in the midst of separating from Bundchen at the time.<\/p>\n

\nSpeaking to MLFootball, he explained: “My last season was tough. I was going through, I had a lot of, you know, a personal family issue.<\/p>\n

\n“And it was a challenge, and it was very\u2026 it just took a lot out of me in terms of, you know, my ability to play.”<\/p>\n
