\t\t<\/p>\n The Chi<\/strong><\/a> <\/em>is returning for an eighth and final season on Showtime!<\/p>\n The Lena Waithe<\/strong>-created series was announced to be renewed for one more season last fall, and now we\u2019re learning a little more about the cast. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Paramount+ announced on Thursday (April 2) that six actors will be joining the series in recurring guest star roles, including Biko Eisen-Martin<\/strong> and Laila Odom<\/strong>, who are pictured here. <\/p>\n Also set to join the cast are Daryl Dunning II<\/strong>, Akilah A. Walker<\/strong>, Liza Jessie Peterson<\/strong> and Anthony B. Jenkins<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Darryl<\/strong> will play Rafi, one of Nuck\u2019s quick-tempered enforcers; Biko<\/strong> will guest stars as Smitty, a reformed gangster, hardened by the streets and humbled by life; Akilah <\/strong>is set to portray Amaya, Smitty\u2019s fiery girlfriend who wants more out of life; Laila <\/strong>will be playing Jordan, Keith\u2019s girlfriend who is a nurse but still has ties to the streets; Liza<\/strong> has been cast as Patience, Rashaad\u2019s no-nonsense attorney with the heart of an activist; and Anthony<\/strong> will portray Devante, Emmett and Shay\u2019s son who moves in with Emmett and Kiesha after getting into trouble at school.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s a season synopsis: As The Chi<\/em> enters its eighth and final season and its coldest winter ever, life or death choices must be made. The question becomes, who is willing to make them? Legacy, conflict, joy, and pain. It all collides in the biggest, most emotionally riveting way ever seen this season on The Chi<\/em>.<\/p>\n Series stars Jacob Latimore<\/strong>, Birgundi Baker<\/strong>, Luke James<\/strong>, Shamon Brown Jr.<\/strong>, Michael V.
