Armie Hammer<\/strong><\/a> and estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers<\/strong><\/a> have settled their divorce three years after calling it quits, Us Weekly<\/em> can confirm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Both Hammer, 36, and Chambers, 40, reached an agreement on Tuesday, June 20, regarding their property and child and spousal support, according to documents obtained by Us<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe parties have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support, the original of which is being or has been submitted to the court,\u201d the documents read. The exes are also asking \u201cthe court [to] approve the agreement.\u201d A judge will need to sign off on the documents for the divorce to be finalized.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0Call Me By Your Name<\/em> star and the TV personality \u2014 who share daughter Harper, 8, and son Ford, 6<\/a> \u2014 split in July 2020 after 10 years of marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt has been an incredible journey, but together, we\u2019ve decided to turn the page and move on from our marriage<\/a>,\u201d the pair said in a joint statement at the time. \u201cAs we enter into this next chapter, our children and relationship as co-parents and dear friends will remain our priority.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Hammer later found himself embroiled in controversy in 2021 when he was accused of sexual assault by multiple women including an allegation that he raped a woman in 2017. Last month, the Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office confirmed it was not moving forward with the sexual assault charges<\/a> after a two year investigation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cSexual assault cases are often difficult to prove, which is why we assign our most experienced prosecutors to review them. In this case, those prosecutors conducted an extremely thorough review, but determined that at this time, there is insufficient evidence to charge Mr. Hammer with a crime,\u201d\u00a0Tiffiny Blacknell<\/strong>,\u00a0Director of Communications for DA George Gascon, told\u00a0<\/span>Us Weekly<\/i>\u00a0in a statement on Wednesday, May 31. \u201cAs prosecutors, we have an ethical responsibility to only charge cases that we can prove beyond a reasonable doubt.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The statement claimed that the DA\u2019s office has an \u201cethical responsibility\u201d to only issue charges when the crimes can be proved \u201cbeyond a reasonable doubt.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe know that it is hard for women to report sexual assault<\/a>,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cEven when we cannot move forward with a prosecution, our victim service representatives will be available to those who seek our victim support services.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Following the announcement, Hammer took to social media to praise the Los Angles DA<\/a> for their \u201cthorough investigation,\u201d adding that he \u201cstood by this entire time, that no crime was committed.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI look forward to beginning what will be a long, difficult process of putting my life together now that my name is cleared,\u201d he concluded his Instagram post.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Chambers, for her part, first opened up about the abuse claims in February 2021. \u201cI am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated,\u201d the Criminal Minds<\/em> alum wrote in a statement at the time. \u201cHeartbreak aside, I am listening, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I didn\u2019t realize how much I didn\u2019t know.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The BIRD bakery founder later told E! News<\/em><\/a> in September 2022 that despite the allegations against Hammer, she and the Social Network<\/em> star were in a \u201cgreat place.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe talk all the time. We\u2019re committed fully and wholly to our children<\/a>, and to being together as much as possible in a non-romantic way for our kids,\u201d she shared. \u201cKids need their mom; kids need their dad. So there\u2019s nothing we won\u2019t do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Chambers added that her ex \u2014 who checked into a rehab facility for substance and sexual issues in May 2021 \u2014 is still committed to working on himself.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cArmie has been focused on his healing,\u201d she said. \u201cThere\u2019s the oxygen mask theory: You can\u2019t really take care of someone until you are taken care of. There\u2019s a reason on the plane they say, \u2018Secure your own mask before helping others.\u2019 He has been very busy securing his own mask. My mask has been secured, [the kids\u2019] masks are on, so right now it\u2019s really been a lot about focusing on them, protecting them.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She continued: \u201cIt\u2019s going to make him the best father, the best person he can be. At the end of the day, that\u2019s the goal. We\u2019re in constant communication and all that matters is that he is the best dad for our children. Obviously he processes everything else that he\u2019s dealing with personally \u2014 and that\u2019s his own journey now.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Despite getting along with Hammer, Chambers maintained that she was listening to the California native\u2019s alleged victims. \u201cI consider myself a feminist and stand in solidarity<\/a> with anyone who has been a victim of any sort and hope they find healing,\u201d she explained to E! at the time. \u201cI\u2019m not being here, like, \u2018My life is amazing,\u2019 because it\u2019s been hell for a long time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
