An on-and-off ally of Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> is calling him out, implying that his administration might be lying about how many United States service members might have died amid his war in Iran.<\/p>\n Since the president launched his strikes on the Middle Eastern country in late February, multiple members of the U.S. military have lost their lives. A report by The New York Times<\/a><\/em> in mid-March put the number of deaths at 13. <\/p>\n However, a prominent conservative figure recently addressed the death toll and expressed concerns that it was not accurate. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span> <\/p>\n On the Monday (March 30) episode of The Megyn Kelly Show<\/a><\/em>, host Megyn Kelly<\/strong><\/a> referenced some of the 79-year-old president\u2019s recent comments in which he referred to both his war in Iran and his planned White House ballroom as being ahead of schedule. <\/p>\n \u201cPresident Trump there saying, just like the ballroom, we\u2019re way ahead of schedule [in Iran]. I mean, this is talking about American troops dying, putting their lives at risks. It\u2019s not just like the ballroom,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n Kelly<\/strong> continued, adding, \u201cLike it\u2019s not just like a fun little excursion into Iran. We\u2019ve already lost 13 servicemen and women. We had another 25 injured over the weekend when Iran hit the Saudis and our plant\u2026 our base there. So we had another 25 American service personnel injured there, many severely.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSeverely injured, what does that mean? Lost limbs? Severe head wounds? They don\u2019t tell us. That information has been largely censored from the American media. We don\u2019t know,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n The host also alleged, \u201cWe don\u2019t believe that we know the full extent of the deaths, either.\u201d <\/p>\n Just Jared<\/strong> contacted the White House and the Pentagon, which is the headquarters of the Department of Defense, for comment but did not hear back at the time of publication. <\/p>\n Kelly<\/strong> and Trump<\/strong> have had a contentious relationship, with the president once insulting her after she moderated a debate<\/a> in 2015. However, she put that behind her, saying in 2025 that she \u201cfell in love\u201d with the president\u2019s policy stances, per the New York Post<\/a>. <\/p>\n She has since shifted her perspective, particularly raising questions about the war in Iran.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
