Prosecutor\u2019s offices will do this. In lawsuit, whichever side has more money will do this.<\/p>\n<p>A team of dozens of attorneys will rack up billable hours churning out documents related to a case. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cDiscovery\u201d then resembles piles upon piles of boxes full of documents and filings, which the opposing team has to sort through. They can \u2014 and sometimes do \u2014 miss something, meaning that their case is sabotaged.<\/p>\n<p>Not turning over exculpatory evidence is a Brady violation, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/07\/alec-baldwin-shooting-trial-dismissed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alec Baldwin\u2019s former prosecutor<\/a> seemingly forgot.
