Keith Urban<\/a> is “doing great” following his divorce from Nicole Kidman.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The 58-year-old country singer split from the Big Little Lies star last year after almost two decades of marriage and, three months after their divorce was finalised, Keith’s friend Russell Dickerson has revealed the Blue Ain’t Your Color hitmaker is in “good spirits”.<\/p>\n
Noting he didn’t get to spend “tons of time” with Keith at the Country to Country festival in March, Russell told the New York Post newspaper’s PageSix column that his pal “seemed in good spirits” and has been focusing his attention on his music.<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cHe\u2019s always been focused on music, and so I think he\u2019s just kind of doubling down on that, and it\u2019s just beautiful. I can\u2019t wait to hear what comes out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Russell’s update on Keith came a few weeks after Nicole revealed she is “all right” in the wake of their split and is focused on their daughters Sunday, 17, and 14-year-old Faith.<\/p>\n
\nAsked if she is OK after splitting from Keith, she told Variety. I am, I\u2019m always going to be moving toward what\u2019s good. What I\u2019m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat\u2019s that. Everything else I don\u2019t discuss out of respect. <\/p>\n
\n“I\u2019m staying in a place of, \u2018We are a family,\u2019 and that\u2019s what we\u2019ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Scarpetta actress – who also has adult children Isabella and Connor with ex-husband Tom Cruise – recently admitted she knows she can overcome “devastating” and “painful” events in life because of her past experiences.<\/p>\n
\nShe told Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “The best part [of getting older] is the experiences that you’ve accumulated. So you go, ‘Oh, I\u2019ve been here before. I actually know how to handle this now.’<\/p>\n
\n“Or: ‘Maybe I haven\u2019t been in this place, but I’ve experienced something similar to this, and I do know that I will get through it.’<\/p>\n
\n“There\u2019s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through. <\/p>\n
\n“You\u2019re going to have to feel it. You\u2019re not going to be able to numb it. You are going to have to feel it, and it’s going to feel insurmountable at times. You\u2019re going to feel like you\u2019re broken, but if you move gently and slowly – and it can take an enormous amount of time – it does pass.”<\/p>\n
