Ready or Not 2: Here I Come star Samara Weaving<\/p>\n
In December 2025, the 34-year-old actress announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, movie director Jimmy Warden, and since then, Samara has tried to find a style that is not mom-like.<\/p>\n
The Ready or Not 2: Here I Come star told People: “I think for me, I really wanted to avoid doing things that felt maternal. I wanted to still feel [like] me and still feel cool.”<\/p>\n
Samara has taken inspiration from a certain pop star.<\/p>\n
She added: “And I really love what Rihanna does when she’s pregnant. So I was like, ‘That’s a north star.'”<\/p>\n
\nSamara is thankful for her “incredible stylist”, Jordan Dorso, for sourcing some perfect pregnancy outfits.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: “It’s hard because you have a new body that’s changing every week, and you have no control. <\/p>\n
\n“So we’re trying to find outfits that accentuate what we want to accentuate and kind of hide what we want to hide. And he’s just been an absolute dream to work with, that I would literally be lost without him.”<\/p>\n
\nIn December, Samara and Jimmy – who got married in 2019 – announced they were set to become parents.<\/p>\n
\nShe shared a series of photos of her showing off the blossoming bump with the caption: “Ready or Not: Here I Come.”<\/p>\n
\nCelebrities showered the couple with congratulatory messages in the post’s comments section.<\/p>\n
\nSinger Dua Lipa, 30, penned: “Sam!!!!! I’m so happy for you guys!!! (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nAmerican Vandal actor Melvin Gregg, 37, typed: “Whaaaaattttt? Congrats Sam\u2026 so happy for you guys (sic).”<\/p>\n
\nAnd The Vampire Diaries alum Phoebe Tonkin, 36, wrote: “Beautiful.”<\/p>\n
\nElsewhere, Samara was left unable to move after suffering a back injury, but made a “miraculous” recovery just two days before she started shooting Ready or Not 2: Here I Come.<\/p>\n
\nShe recently told the New York Post newspaper: “I was really terribly injured before filming this, and I couldn’t walk.<\/p>\n
\n“Basically, I have a dead disc in my back, and I had three bulging discs. It was horrendous. I couldn’t move.<\/p>\n
\n“Miraculously, I came to life. I could walk and run like two days before shooting. It was truly insane…<\/p>\n
\n“Everyone was really nervous that I wouldn\u2019t be able to do it.”<\/p>\n
\nAnd Samara praised Jimmy for his support and help when she was “so high on pain meds” that she could barely function.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “He was helping me, just feeding me. He’d have to help me to the bathroom, put me in the shower. It was rough.”<\/p>\n
