Paradise<\/em> has inspired some surprising theories about time travel \u2014 and Alex\u2019s identity \u2014 ahead of the season 2 finale.<\/p>\n

The hit Hulu series, which premiered in January 2025, initially appeared to be set in a serene and wealthy community forced to face the realities of a shocking murder. But creator Dan Fogelman<\/strong>\u2018s political thriller featured a twist when Paradise<\/em> was revealed to be an underground bunker housing the world\u2019s most prominent individuals after an apocalyptic event destroyed the rest of humanity.<\/p>\n

The cast previously spoke to Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively about how they kept the show<\/a> a secret before its premiere.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe biggest lengths [we had to go through to keep the twist secret] are happening now when we\u2019re actually talking to people about it,\u201d Julianne Nicholson shared at the time. \u201cWhen we were on set, everybody knows what\u2019s up, so we don\u2019t have to be that secretive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tParadise has introduced several unanswered questions, but Alex\u2019s identity might be the most mysterious of them all. Season 2, which premiered in February, mentioned Alex as an enemy Link (Thomas Doherty) was determined to kill after finally finding the bunker. The name was mentioned again when Sinatra (Julianne Nicholson) got out of the hospital and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She continued: \u201cBut now the trick is how do you grab people\u2019s attention and assure them that this is something different without giving away any of the details? But we\u2019re very excited for people to get on the ride with us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sterling K. Brown<\/strong>, meanwhile, recently reflected on holding<\/a> onto so much information about the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like knowing [what will happen on my projects]. But I feel like it\u2019s a question you only ask in TV. Because if you\u2019re doing a film or play, you know the beginning, the middle and the end,\u201d he told Us<\/em> in February. \u201cThe idea that you don\u2019t have to know or have it spoiled for you \u2026 it is also like I get a chance to help craft the arc of where it ultimately goes to. So I don\u2019t mind knowing.\u201d<\/p>\n
