\t\t<\/p>\n Antonio Banderas<\/strong> is sharing what it has been like to leave Hollywood.<\/p>\n The 65-year-old actor left Hollywood behind to return to his home town M\u00e1laga, Spain in 2017 after a near-fatal heart attack.<\/p>\n \u201cMine was a really serious warning. It changed the way I look at life,\u201d he shared during a new interview with The Times<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Not only did he return home, but he quit smoking, sold his private jet, and bought his not-for-profit theatre Teatro del Soho, which he describes as his great passion.<\/p>\n Antonio<\/strong> said, \u201cFaced with death, it made me look back and realize that I am, in fact, a theatre actor.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI have never been so happy,\u201d The Mask of Zorro<\/em> star added.<\/p>\n While he doesn\u2019t live in the States anymore, Antonio<\/strong> is still a working actor, having starred in recent hits like Babygirl<\/em>, Paddington in Peru<\/em>, and even Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny<\/em>.<\/p>\n He previously talked about opening his theater company in 2019, just a few years after his heart attack. It also includes a school for 600 students.<\/p>\n \u201cI came [to] the conclusion that I had to do the things that I want to do, that I don\u2019t want to die thinking, \u2018I should have done that or I should have said that.\u2019 Money in the bank became kind of a very Machiavellian intellectual thing,\u201d he revealed at the time<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
