Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> made a comment that he said could very easily end his political career. <\/p>\n The 79-year-old president called into The Five<\/em> on Fox News on Thursday (March 26). During the interview, he was questioned by cohost Dana Perino<\/strong> about the status of Iranian citizens amid the current war in their country. <\/p>\n \u201cI think it is alarming that we have not been able to see or hear from any of the Iranian people, and I imagine that is because their internet is shut down, and I think there is some general worry about them,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cDo you have any insight as to how they are doing? Do they have drinking water? Do they have food?\u201d <\/p>\n She described the worry as \u201cupsetting.\u201d<\/p>\n In his response, Trump<\/strong> made a remark that he said would get him in trouble. Despite expressing concerns, he decided to say it anyways. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The president said he had an answer to the question before shifting the conversation<\/a> to a memory he shared with the Fox host. <\/p>\n \u201cBut first, you remember when we had lunch years ago in the base of Trump Tower when it was a brand new building?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n Perino <\/strong>confirmed that she recalled, saying, \u201cA long time ago.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cAnd you haven\u2019t changed. You have not changed. I\u2019m not allowed to say this\u2026 It\u2019s the end of my political career. But you may be even better looking,\u201d Trump <\/strong>said.<\/p>\n He continued, adding, \u201cSo I don\u2019t know what you\u2019re doing\u2026 But I will not say that because it will end my political career. You\u2019re not allowed to say a woman is beautiful anymore. You know that Jesse [Watters]<\/strong>? You have to be careful.\u201d<\/p>\n After the awkward remarks, the Republican did address Perino<\/strong>\u2018s question, saying that he thought the Iranian people were \u201cpetrified\u201d due to how they\u2019d been treated by their government, who he said has \u201cvery nasty guns.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cThey have the worst guns and machine guns. And what they do is they shoot you. And the people are brave, but they\u2019re not brave when they see people going down left and right,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cNo matter who you are \u2014 I don\u2019t care how brave, unless you\u2019re really sort of stupid \u2014 you can\u2019t protest.\u201d<\/p>\n Trump<\/strong> insisted, \u201cThe only reason they\u2019re not protesting is they\u2019re being shot.\u201d<\/p>\n His remarks come amid ongoing concerns about alleged peace talks<\/a> that he\u2019s engaging in with Iranian officials.
