Tori Spelling has recalled her childhood friendship with Paris Hilton<\/a>, describing a long-standing bond between their families that began when they were young.<\/p>\n

The actress, 52, shared the memories during an episode of her podcast MisSPELLING, on which she reflected on growing up alongside Paris within a close-knit social circle of prominent families. <\/p>\n

She explained their parents \u2013 including her father, television producer Aaron Spelling<\/a>, who died aged 83, and Paris\u2019s parents Kathy Hilton and Rick Hilton \u2013 were friends, leading to shared holidays and regular family gatherings. <\/p>\n

Tori said her younger brother Randy Spelling also knew Paris well and that the pair had dated. <\/p>\n

She described spending occasions such as Thanksgiving and trips away with families including the Hiltons and the Davises, forming what she characterised as a lifelong connection. <\/p>\n

\nParis, who grew up with siblings Nicky Hilton, Barron Hilton and Conrad Hilton, remained part of that extended social group.<\/p>\n

\nTori said on the podcast: \u201cI grew up with Paris, love her. She\u2019s like a family member. I\u2019ve known her since we were little.\u201d <\/p>\n

\nShe added: \u201cWe all grew up kind of together in that circle\u2026 like our parents were friends.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI remember Thanksgiving and Palm Springs together, all our families like the Davises, the Hiltons and the Spellings. And she would always say, like, \u2018Oh my gosh, I just want Tori to babysit me\u2019. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cI always loved that about her. She always looked up to me, and it\u2019s the only person in my lifetime that has ever done that.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cSo anyway, we\u2019ve had a special bond our entire lives. We just get it on a level that some people can\u2019t, you know. We have that bond.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nTori said she recently reconnected with Paris at a birthday celebration, where she attended with her son Liam and his girlfriend. <\/p>\n

\nShe said: \u201cAnd it\u2019s so nice because Paris is like that. It\u2019s always a family affair. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cIt was great. Kathy was there, her mom, Nikki, her sister. It was just like (we) caught up with so many people that we all grew up with.\u201d<\/p>\n
