Chris Hughes met JoJo Siwa on Celebrity Big Brother in 2025<\/p>\n
The couple formed a close friendship and insisted their love for each other was “platonic” on the UK reality TV show until it blossomed into romance following JoJo’s split from Kath Ebbs, 28, at the social experiment programme’s afterparty in 2025.<\/p>\n
Chris told the new issue of Britain’s Closer magazine: “Of course, it’s not a normal situation of when people meet, and they don’t usually get to relive the moment where you realise that you really like someone.<\/p>\n
“It’s pretty cool in a way that we’ll always have that to look back on. People have seen our journey from the start, and all the fans have been supportive.”<\/p>\n
Chris, 33, lives in Surrey, South East England, while 22-year-old JoJo – who previously came out as pansexual and now identifies as queer – is based in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
\nAnd although the pair are happy being in a long-distance relationship, Chris teased that he would consider moving stateside to be with the Dance Moms alum permanently.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “I love America, and I love living with her family in Palm Springs, we’re really close. It’s one of my favourite places on Earth.<\/p>\n
\n“Who knows what the future holds – I can see myself out there, and I love spending time with JoJo in the sunshine.”<\/p>\n
\nAnd Chris can also see himself being a dad.<\/p>\n
\nThe Love Island UK hunk shared: “I’d love to settle down and have a couple of kids because I come from a big family. I can’t cope with too many, though I’ve always envisaged growing up and having children, especially as I’d love to teach them sport.<\/p>\n
\n“That would be so fun.”<\/p>\n
\nIn February, Chris and JoJo attended her 25-year-old brother, actor Jayden Siwa\u2019s wedding to Abbie Crandall, in Palm Springs, and it has made Chris think about what he wants his future nuptials to look like.<\/p>\n
\nChris recalled: “It was a lovely, intimate, summery, warm wedding, and I really enjoyed that vibe.”<\/p>\n
\nHe then teased: “So we’ll see what happens!”<\/p>\n
\nIn September 2025, JoJo said she is “craving” a wedding to Chris.<\/p>\n
\nAppearing on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast, she said: “I’m happy. I’ve never wanted the future so bad.<\/p>\n
\n“I’ve never, ever wanted the love that I have to just continue to grow.<\/p>\n
\n“I’ve never protected a love that I have so much. I’ve never cared about another person so much.<\/p>\n
\n“I’ve never craved a wedding. I’ve always wanted to just like go sign a piece of paper or go to Vegas ’cause I didn’t wanna have a wedding, but now I’m like, \u2018No, I want a ring, and I want my Dad to walk me down the aisle and I wanna first dance, and I want butterflies.\u2019\u2026 I\u2019m happy.”<\/p>\n
