Kimberly Wyatt<\/a> recently announced they were getting the group back together but they wouldn’t be joined by former members Jessica, Carmit Bachar, and Melody Thornton.<\/p>\nJessica – who is currently dealing with a neurological condition and claimed having a COVID-19 vaccination made her feel “like [she] was on the brink of death” – believes the fact she is an outspoken supporter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the controversial US Secretary of Health and Human Services who she previously endorsed as president.<\/p>\n
Speaking on The Maverick Approach podcast, she said: “I was a liability. I align with Bobby Kennedy, which is aligning with MAGA. <\/p>\n
“Do I love what Trump is doing? Absolutely not. I do not believe in war. <\/p>\n
\n“[But] we didn’t have a chance for the [vaccine] injured community to get help without him\u2026 People are screaming at me, ‘You’re MAGA, you’re MAGA.’ Yeah, I am. I triple down on it because I’m like, I’m so sick of people telling me who I should be.”<\/p>\n
\nJessica branded the reunion a “cash grab” and claimed she, Carmit and Melody were “blindsided” by the reunited trio’s announcement.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “None of us were called. None of us were told about anything. In fact, we were blindsided.”<\/p>\n
\nWhile the reunion had been rumoured, Jessica didn’t hear from Nicole until the day it was announced, but she couldn’t bring herself to answer the phone and suggested she has no desire to speak to her right now.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “I don\u2019t plan to call her back. I love Nicole. This is very bittersweet for me. I respect her as an artist. I even cried with joy when she won her Tony [for Sunset Boulevard] just recently.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, like Jessica, Carmit previously admitted she was also shocked by the news of the reunion.<\/p>\n
\nShe wrote on Instagram: \u201cIn light of recent developments, I feel it is important to speak honestly and respectfully.<\/p>\n
\n“I was not contacted regarding the group\u2019s decision to move forward, and I learned of these plans at the same time as the public. <\/p>\n
\n“Given my history with the brand, having been part of its foundation long before its commercial debut and instrumental in the connections that led to the record deal\u2026 I would have appreciated direct communication.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWhile this is disappointing on a personal level, I remain proud of the role I played in helping shape what The Pussycat Dolls became.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI believe the legacy of any group is built not only by those seen on stage, but also by the collective contributions and shared vision that brought it to life.\u201d<\/p>\n
