Brenda Song<\/a>, 37, said she had arranged first-class tickets for a family trip with her fianc\u00e9 Macaulay and their sons Dakota Culkin, four, and Carson Culkin, three, but alleged the airline reassigned their seats without warning. <\/p>\nWriting on Instagram, Brenda said the incident occurred as the family prepared to travel to celebrate Dakota\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI didn\u2019t know when you book your first class tickets 6 months in advance for your family\u2026 @alaskaair can just give away your seats the morning of with no warning.\u201d <\/p>\n
She added a warning directed at followers, urging them to \u201cnever fly\u201d with the airline.<\/p>\n
\nMacaulay responded by reposting her comments, writing: \u201cHell hath no fury like a Brenda scorned\u2026 .\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn a statement, a spokesperson for Alaska Airlines said: \u201cTraveling can be stressful, especially with young children, and we pride ourselves on being a top airline for traveling families.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nThe spokesperson added: \u201cWe are deeply sorry for adding friction to the experience.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nThe airline described the incident as \u201cunacceptable\u201d and said it had contacted the couple following the complaint.<\/p>\n
\nBrenda and Macaulay, who met in 2017 on the set of Changeland, became engaged in early 2022 and have two children together. <\/p>\n
\nThe couple have largely kept their private life out of the public eye, though Brenda has recently spoken about their home life in interviews.<\/p>\n
\nDuring an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Brenda said about Macaulay: \u201cI took him out to drive in our neighborhood. I was terrified.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nShe added Macaulay is a \u201cvery unique human being\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nAlongside their family life, Brenda and Macaulay have also been active in the property market. <\/p>\n
\nReports indicate the couple purchased a six-bedroom home for $10.3 million after selling a previous property for $14.24 million.<\/p>\n
\nMacaulay rose to global fame as a child star in Home Alone, becoming one of the highest-paid child actors of the 1990s.<\/p>\n
\nHe later stepped back from Hollywood before returning to acting, music and podcasting, building a varied career across film, television and comedy.<\/p>\n
